Freestanding Botanical Sculpture with Lights

This sculpture set was designed in concert with the “nurture by nature” theme of the Hotel Indigo in Rochester, MN. The newly renovated hotel included updates to its 178 rooms, exterior, ballroom, pool, fitness room, and conference spaces. Complimenting the earthy tones of the rooms, this living, breathing hotel is infused throughout with a union of both fabricated botanicals and live plants.

Each of the eight units is 60” long x 72” tall x 12” deep. While the custom fabricated bases appear identical, the hundreds of individually handcrafted reeds make every unit a unique work of art.
